Since [1] was merged - Kolla source type images are using stable branch tarballs for OpenStack projects - compared to latest point releases - as previously.

There are some projects though, that kolla-build uses point releases for those, the list can be found in version-check tool source [2].

Users that want to build source images using latest point releases - can run tools/version-check.py with --versioned-releases option (-v) - and it will adapt sources list accordingly.
