I would like to grant FFE for this feature since the main reason for it not merging on time is review bandwidth and the author is very responsive on the patch so hopefully we will be able to merge it with FFE.

Reason for FFE:

This patch is one of the important feature for HPE XP driver because it supports a `storage assisted' High Availability.

We added the patch into the feature lists for both 2023.2 Bobcat cycle, but it's been merged yet.

Additionally, some bugfix patches have a relation chain to this patch. These includes a bug which issued at a customer site on RHOSP.

These patches couldn't be merged until merged this patch.
