Yes, I am working on fixing some issues in the test gates for the stable branches now[1]. Once those branches are testing correctly again, we will be pushing to merge pending patches (I know of one) and cutting updated stable branch releases. We found that the latest octavia bobcat release packages for different OS like Rocky Linux 9, Debian 12, Ubuntu 22.04 do not contain the latest bug fixes from the release notes https://docs.openstack.org/releasenotes/octavia/2023.2.html of version 13.0.0-37.
Be aware that 13.0.0-37 is not an actual version of Octavia, rather it's a quirk of the release notes generator that indicates 37 unrelased commits on the branch since the 13.0.0 tag.
And there is no tag with these fixes in the octavia repository https://github.com/openstack/octavia/tags. So could you please create a point release in the octavia repository so that we can build packages with these changes. [...]
Hopefully Octavia's stable branch maintainers will request one soon, because the stable/2023.2 branch is expected to reach end of life later this month, after which no new point releases will ever be possible for it. -- Jeremy Stanley
