What he said. I run multiple clusters deployed with Kolla. There's a bit of a learning curve as with anything, but it works great for me. The openstack-kolla IRC channel on freenode is also a good resource if you're having issues.

Could anyone suggest stable Openstack installer for our multi-node setup (initially 40 physical machines, later around 80)? Upgrades should be smooth.

PS: I have tried devstack recently. It works. Kolla fails. I tried packstack few years back.
