Ironic currently has an Intel IPMI Management driver ( https://docs.openstack.org/ironic/latest/admin/drivers/intel-ipmi.html ), a mild enhancement over our generic IPMI driver, which adds the ability to select an Intel Speed Select Performance Profile via an Ironic automation step. Ironic cores have no knowledge of this driver being used by any deployers of Ironic. We are evaluating it for deprecation and eventual removal. If you are interested in this driver remaining in the Ironic codebase, please let us know.
