Hi,
I actually have, it's just spread over the document :) And somebody (Julia?) has already added more information.

Hey Dmitry :)
Would you mind adding that to the etherpad so we have all the info in one place? I looked and didn't think I saw Ironic's testimony in there and it would be super helpful!

Hi,
Ironic did, I think, 3-4 virtual midcycles, and I think they were quite successful. The most positive outcome was to reach out to folks who usually cannot travel. They really appreciated that.
We used SIP the first couple of times, but it caused problems for a big share of participants. Also lack of moderation was problematic. We switched to Bluejeans later, and that was, IMO, a big improvement: 1) A participant list with information who is speaking. 2) An option for a moderator to mute a person or everyone. 3) Screen sharing.

Hello Everyone!
I wanted to collect best practices and pitfalls to avoid wrt projects experiences with virtual midcycles. I know of a few projects that have done them in the past and with how travel is hard for a lot of people right now, I expect more projects to have midcycles. I think it would be helpful to have all of the data we can collect in one place for those not just new to virtual midcycles but the whole community.
I threw some categories into this etherpad[1] and filled in some options. Please add to it :)
