Even if you solve the MariaDB problem, you are likely to run into other incompatibilities. In the worst case, you will only notice it when things are not working in the deployed cloud. Solution: Install Packstack on a freshly installed operating system. On 2021/05/28 7:04 AM, Ken.Germann@L3Harris.com wrote:
I removed mariadb-server, mariadb-client, mariadb-compat and mariadb-common.
I run packstack –answer-file=answer.conf
I get this error message:
ERROR : Error appeared during Puppet run: 192.245.72.101_controller.pp
Error: Execution of '/usr/bin/yum -d 0 -e 0 -y install mariadb-server-galera' returned 1: Package 3:mariadb-server-10.3.20-3.el7.0.0.rdo1.x86_64 is obsoleted by MariaDB-server-10.5.10-1.el7.centos.x86_64 which is already installed
You will find full trace in log /var/tmp/packstack/20210527-170042-RiVtzU/manifests/192.245.72.101_controller.pp.log
Any ideas how I work around this issue?
