Hello,

I would encourage to use latest stable release that is 2023.2 (Bobcat) or at least 2023.1 (Antelope)
There’s a nice guide here: https://docs.openstack.org/kolla-ansible/2023.2/user/quickstart.html
Or  https://docs.openstack.org/kolla-ansible/2023.1/user/quickstart.html

Depending on which version you would like to use.

2024.1 is only a release candidate now - we’re working towards the final release of 2024.1/Caracal

And we’re happy to respond to some questions on #openstack-kolla on OFTC IRC network (or here in this thread).

Best regards,
Michal

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the feedback. I have successfully uninstalled using the kolla-ansible -i multinode destroy --yes-i-really-really-mean-it command.

To reinstall/redeploy OpenStack, is there a proper installation guide for me to follow? I mainly want to explore Neutron. I currently have 2 physical server units where 1 unit functions as a controller, and another unit functions as storage, the operating system used is Ubuntu 22.04.4 LTS.

Thank you,
Cakra Wirabuana

Hi everyone,

I'm a new OpenStack user from Indonesia, and for the past few weeks I've been having trouble installing OpenStack even though I've been following the steps in the link https://btech.id/en/news/cara-menginstall-openstack-menggunakan-kolla-ansible/#

So, it looks like I decided to do a reinstallation, but I don't know if I should uninstall the old one first or what.

Is there any guidance that can be given to me to do this reinstallation?

Thank you.
