thank you very much for offering help!

Unfortunately my last reply to this list are shreddered by the mailing system into HTML attachments.

I am not sure why, but possibly my webmail client might cause the trouble.
That's why it can't be seen that i managed to resolve the issue in the meantime.

 

I have a dedicated iSCSI interface indead, and the strange thing was that all connections worked perfectly fine on the network level.
It then turned out that Infortrend's iscsi client had caused errors due to an unexpected enocoding.

Having it nailed to UTF-8 made it work, and so everything now works fine.
I'll try to attach my Equallogic as well soon ;-)
