How to control data write into a multiattach volume

Hi, I have created a multiattach volume and attached it to several Windows VMs/Instances. Is there away in OpenStack to drop all data written by each VM/instances? I am supposed to periodically detach and attach the multiattach volume. Regards, Danishka
