Welcome, Ramsha! You always can use a Virtual Machine (VM) on Windows. I personally use Fedora, but you can use any distribution. 1. First, I recommend you to read about Devstack [1] (It's a series of scripts used to quickly bring up a complete OpenStack environment) 2. Try to follow the guide [1] and install Devstack on the host machine. 3. Read the [2] developers guide. Maybe this guide is old but could help you [3]. Let me know if you have any questions!
