[ironic] Control Power using PoE?

Hello, I'm looking into using ironic to control a bunch of low-power compute. I'm wondering whether it'd be possible, or even the right approach, to control power states via the PoE switch. This would only allow completely cutting off power, and I'm not sure that's the right kind of control for ironic. I'd combine this with PXE/iPXE, but the way I understand ironic that shouldn't make a difference. Has anyone worked with PoE? Is that even a reasonable approach? Kind Regards, Kai Jellinghaus
