Personally for me it did not help much but I think this is a fairly low cost process so I'm OK to keep it as is.
I'm of much the same opinion. I don't think it achieved what it was expected to achieve, and I suspect people reaching out to cores on IRC effectively achieves the same purpose. It's low cost to keep this, at you say, but personally I would still remove this section. Stephen
