Use of BladeCenter as a compute node(s)

Hi, Done anyone deployed OpenStack compute nodes on BladeCenter? Do we need to attach each blade as a compute node? If we do so, aren't we restrict the maximum capacity of the VM to capacity of each blade? Regards, Danishka
