Hello, You could also try to ssh into the instances and inspect journalctl -u heat-container-agent.service Regards, Gabriel El lun, 4 mar 2024 a las 6:26, Michał Nasiadka (<mnasiadka@gmail.com>) escribió:
Hi,
You can try using Magnum from a later supported release, such as stable/2023.2 by overriding Magnum tag in Kolla-Ansible (magnum_tag variable) - but that is not tested, especially that there are no branches for stable/stein and we don’t run any CI for that OpenStack version.

Hi Michal,
Thanks for your reply. Yes I did but actually based on some reasons, I can not upgrade my environment. I need to find a way to use magnum on kolla-ansible/stein. I would appreciate it if there is a solution you can point me in the right direction.

Hello,
Basically both Kolla-Ansible and Magnum in Stein release are long time end of life - and I don’t think you’ll get any support for that combination. Have you considered upgrading to a supported release?

Hi everyone,
I am currently working on Magnum installed on kolla-ansible stein version. I followed the docs and created clusters using Fedora-Atomic-27-20180419.0.x86_64.qcow2 image according to docs. Now, magnum is creating necessary resources, VMs etc but after some time it is getting timeout at kube_minions&kube_cluster_deploy steps and there are not any information logs about it.
I've tried to use different images but I could not succeed. Can you help me, please?
Thanks a lot, İzzettin.
