Git is a free and open source version control system. It allows many software developers to work on a given project without requiring them to share a common network. Gerrit is a free, web-based team code collaboration tool. Developers in a team can review each other's modifications on their source code using a web browser and approve or reject those changes. It integrates closely with Git. In this session we will walk-through participants to submit a test patch to a repository in OpenStack. The process involves learning about git along with a cheat sheet of most useful commands and review process in Gerrit.
