Please accept this email as my self-nomination for the candidacy of
OpenStack User Committee (2019 Feb election).

My name is Yih Leong Sun (*Leong*). I am currently Enterprise Solution
Architect for Intel Data Center Group - Enterprise & Government. Previously
I was Cloud Architect for Intel Open Source Cloud Engineering team. More

Since 2000, I had the opportunity to develop software and infrastructure
solutions with distributed computing and cloud technologies in various
industry including media, telco and finance, across US, UK/EU and APAC
regions. I obtained PhD in Cloud Computing (Multi-Cloud orchestration) in
2013. In 2018, I served as a member of OpenStack UC and participated in
various community activities and working group. Over the past 12 months, I
actively engaged with various partners and users and to promote Open
Infrastructure solutions for the Enterprise and Government segment.

I would like to seek your support for me to continuing to serve the
OpenStack User Committee. I believe my previous experience and
relationships with partners/customers can be valuable to the community.
