(Ok, let's give Christopher some competition for the sake of the WG)
I'm interested too! I've NOT been an active participant in the App Dev
Ecosystem WG. In fact, I've been a very passive observant until Flanders
asked. So let me introduce myself [1].
I work on two FOSS products that help developers build apps on top of
OpenStack and continuously test on iterations to keep up with ever changing
APIs. I've gathered tons of information from developers on how they build
apps and make adjustments as needed to leverage the cloud. We've learned
what specific practices developers had to implement to keep up with
OpenStack and also other clouds (some applications burst out to public).
I'm very passionate about improving the developer experience and would love
to bring this perspective to the group. My day job is PM for Red Hat
OpenStack Platform and as a co-chair, I would bring my awesome abilities to
find and build a community developers to brainstorm and share their
experiences.
