Subject: Re: OpenStack App Ecosystem Work Group Chair Hand Off

My heart sank a little in reading this John as you have been an amazing co-chair and a source of smiles and productivity throughout!
Though naturally, these changes are understandable as our industry does like to change every now and again ;-)
I can't tell you how many toasts I owe you for building up this WG. The future of open cloud apps has just begun and you have started us down an open pathway which will make all the difference.

You leave us better than we began, and that is credo of community (imho)!

Thank you, thank you and thank you!

Best of all you leave us with an amazing new co-chair in the form of Krotscheck!
Welcome, welcome :)

Kind Regards,

Flanders

Team,

It is with mixed feelings that I send this note telling you my time in chairing (co-chairing) the App Ecosystem group has come to an end. Recent organizational changes have placed me in a new position that are not aligned with the same efforts as before. The good news is after receiving a strong nomination and enthusiastic reply, I would like to introduce Michael Krotscheck as my replacement. His background as a Java developer who is interested in moving the App Ecosystem work forward should be a welcome addition to the team. He has already met Flanders and has been a Stacker for some time.

I plan to introduce Michael on our regularly scheduled IRC meeting on Monday but realized this was more inclusive for some who will not be in attendance. Please welcome Michael as my replacement.
It has been a pleasure to serve with all of you and I look forward to our paths crossing down the etherpad.

Cheers,

John Callaghan
