Hear ye, hear ye, The User Survey is now alive (and kicking)!

*[On bended knee]* doth I make my plea:

Dear Applications Ecosystem Working Group,

Could you please take a bit-o-time to fill out the survey.
Why?
Because, this survey will inform the direction of our work through to
Barcelona.

Most importantly you will find a section of the survey with the tab label
of "Application Development". We must invite-invite-invite our would-be
community of AppDev to provide their insight.

As discussed on the App-Eco-wg call yesterday, of significant importance is
asking fellow AppDev to fill out this survey, *and* hear their feedback on
how to improve the survey:

@Marcella - if you could please encourage any fellow colleagues in
Guadalajara to take this survey, if you could ask for feedback on any
questions they found mysterious or lacking?

@Chris - if you could encourage any developers who have contributed to the
App-Catalogue to take the survey and feedback their thoughts to you?

@Patricia - if you know of anyone on your developer relations teams?

@Stef - Naturally, I am sure you will take the survey, but if there is
anyone who you can think of whom I could humbly chase and request their
insight?

@John - if you could help us think around how to collate the feedback via
our meetings for future user surveys, especially with regards to the
'Applications Development' tab?

Please see below for further information on the survey from the forever
friendly Fifield.

And please do forward this email onto x2-x5 AppDev. #PrettyPlease
Complimentary drinks from yours truly for each invite!
Bonus points for ReTweets ;-)

Thank you all most sincerely.

Kind Regards,

Flanders

Hi all,

If you run OpenStack, build apps on it, or have customers with OpenStack
deployments, please take a few minutes to respond to the latest User Survey
or pass it along to your friends.

Since 2013, the user survey has provided significant insight into what
people are deploying and how they're using OpenStack. You can see the most
recent results in the October 2015 report[1].

Please follow the link and instructions below to complete the User Survey
by ***February 24, 2016 at 23:00 UTC***. If you already completed the
survey, there's no need to start over. You can simply log back in to update
your Deployment Profile, as well as take the opportunity to provide
additional input. You need to do this to keep your past survey responses
active, but we hope you'll do it because we've made the survey shorter and
with more interesting questions ;)

Take the Survey (

http://www.openstack.org/user-survey )

All of the information you provide is confidential to the Foundation and
User Committee and will be aggregated anonymously unless you clearly
indicate we can publish your organization’s profile.

Remember you can hear directly from users and see the aggregate survey
findings by attending the next OpenStack Summit, April 25-29 in Austin (
http://www.openstack.org/summit).

Thank you again for your support.

too :)
