Open Stack

First of all I think that I saw great improvement on the last survey.

When i tried to draw insights from it I encounter few challenges drawing in
the following areas:

1. Distro: which distro to use and which one is most used, Dustri vs trunk

2.  Trend (Vs last survey)

The usage metrics seemed odd as it shows fairly low numbers of FSI vertical.

I agree that NFV seemed to become a major vertical so we may want to add
specific question to segment this vertical such as  ISVs vs Carriers, list
of NFV servicesand their   popularity, demographic distribution (is NFV
mostly an EU thing?)

I also felt that there was confusing overlap in the app segment but I need
to look back into the report to provide more concrete feedback on that
regard. The bottom line is that was hard to understand how many are using
tools like puppet or MySQL as it appears in various categories.

On the workload side the web services category seemed too broad.

It would interesting to see how many users choose OpenStack for internal
use and how many use it as customer facing service.

Anyway I'll look back into the report and see if I missed anything.
