Open Stack

Sending a brief intro/hello as I just joined the product-wg mailing list………

I’m an OpenStack Solutions Manager at EMC.   I have very strong interest in both Product Management (this is where I’ve spent the majority of my career) as well as OpenStack.  I’ve been involved in OpenStack for the last 2 years or so.

I’m reviewing now the email archives to get a sense for what has been discussed so far and get up to speed on what has been discussed and peoples’ takes on things.  In general I’m very interested in helping to provide some context to the development community on users, their issues, etc.  I think as OpenStack becomes more and more successful and adopted we’re going to have people who want to and will use the technology but don’t have the ability or the time to actually write code for OpenStack.  We need to be sure the needs of these users don’t get missed.
