<div dir="ltr"> Hi,<div><br></div>I tried using OpenStack Client 3.12.0 and could list networks and create servers (without network conf). <br>Unfortunately an attempt to create a server with a network configuration resulted in:<div><pre style="box-sizing:border-box;font-family:SFMono-Regular,Consolas,"Liberation Mono",Menlo,Courier,monospace;font-size:11.9px;margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:16px;word-wrap:normal;padding:16px;overflow:auto;line-height:1.45;background-color:rgb(246,248,250);border-radius:3px;color:rgb(36,41,46)"><code style="box-sizing:border-box;font-family:SFMono-Regular,Consolas,"Liberation Mono",Menlo,Courier,monospace;font-size:11.9px;padding:0px;margin:0px;background:transparent;border-radius:3px;word-break:normal;border:0px;display:inline;overflow:visible;line-height:inherit;word-wrap:normal">* Error creating OpenStack Neutron network: Expected HTTP response code [201 202] when accessing [POST <a href="https://iad.networks.api.rackspacecloud.com/v2.0/v2.0/networks">https://iad.networks.api.rackspacecloud.com/v2.0/v2.0/networks</a>], but got 404 instead
404 Not Found</code></pre>This is exactly the same issue as in <a href="https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform/issues/1560">https://github.com/hashicorp/terraform/issues/1560</a> filed in 2015. </div><div><br></div><div>I checked Terraform which presumably uses Heat client (<a href="https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/OpenStackClients#Official_Clients">https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/OpenStackClients#Official_Clients</a>) but it also says that Rackspace is not officially supported due to some differences (<a href="https://www.terraform.io/docs/providers/openstack/">https://www.terraform.io/docs/providers/openstack/</a>).</div><div><br></div><div>Am missing something or Rackspace Cloud and the OpenStack clients are not compatible?<br></div><div>Has anyone been successful in fully managing Rackspace with OpenStack tools?</div><div><br></div><div>Best,</div><div>Gintas</div>
