As specified in this link:

<a id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423206085377_8766" style="" class="" href="https://openstack.redhat.com/Neutron_with_existing_external_network" target="_blank">https://openstack.redhat.com/Neutron_with_existing_external_network</a>

network restart takes destroys and recreates br-ex which causes the router's interface in the qrouter-* netns to be deleted, and it won't be recreated without clearing and re-setting the gateway.

This means whenever I do network restart I need to recreate external subnet and assign new floating IPs to the existing VMs.Is there a way I can prevent this?

Thanks,

Priyanka<br><br></pre><div style="" class="" dir="ltr" id="yui_3_16_0_1_1423206085377_8708"><br style="" class=""></div></div></body></html>
