SCOPE<br class="">
<br class="">
The ongoing adoption of Cloud Computing has lead to an increase in the level of<br class="">
complexity of the existing services and inherently higher risks for companies <br class="">
willing to migrate in order to benefit from this new paradigm. These risks could <br class="">
arise from deviations from the normal operation that could lead to a reduction <br class="">
or interruption of the QoS, service shortages, or incidents.<br class="">
<br class="">
Cloud Incident Management, as a novel research direction, is addressing specific <br class="">
issues that are related to cloud services, bringing under the same umbrella <br class="">
relevant topics including cloud management automation, SLA and QoS management <br class="">
(and specifically management of SLA incidents), Cloud forensics and targeting <br class="">
the resolution of deviations from normal operations.<br class="">
<br class="">
TOPICS OF INTEREST<br class="">

Authors are invited to submit papers that fall into the area of cloud incident<br class="">
management. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the following:<br class="">

- Cloud incident management architectures, workflows and automated handling <br class="">
processes;<br class="">
- Techniques and algorithms for cloud incident detection and classification;<br class="">
- Root cause analysis in cloud computing;<br class="">
- Engineering of self-healing cloud autonomic systems;<br class="">
- Resilient service provisioning in cloud computing;<br class="">
- Cloud forensic investigations, electronic discovery (eDiscovery);<br class="">
- Audit, security, privacy, and compliance management for cloud computing;<br class="">
- Cloud quality management and service level agreement (SLA);<br class="">
- Cloud configuration, performance, and capacity management;<br class="">
- Novel fault-tolerance techniques and implementations of emerging software <br class="">
technologies;<br class="">
- Analysis of cloud anti-patterns for incident avoidance<br class="">

PAPER SUBMISSION AND PUBLICATION<br class="">

Full papers will be submitted via EasyChair system at:<br class="">

The submission format will follow the recommended format of the EuroSys <br class="">
conference, and must be no longer than 12 numbered pages, excluding references <br class="">
for which additional pages can be used. Papers must be formatted using a 10pt <br class="">
font, single spacing (minimum 11pt spacing between lines), two columns with 0.33 <br class="">
inches between columns, and a text box of 7 by 9 inches. The ACM SIGPLAN style <br class="">
should achieve the required formatting if using the “10pt” and “preprint” <br class="">
options (<a href="http://www.sigplan.org/Resources/Author/" class="">http://www.sigplan.org/Resources/Author/</a>).<br class="">
