virtual machines, the machines are connected to a private network
and have a neutron router with an interface on the public
network. </div>

<div style="">I can allocate floating IPs and setup security groups
but I could not find a way (other than manually messing up with the
iptables in the router namespace on the network node) through
openstack.</div>
