Also, you have to consider what certification means to people and to your students. If this were just some workshop I think you can get away with it (but definitely can't use OS trademark without asking the Foundation, that's pretty obvious). But if you are charging fee and expecting people to claim to be OS certified (that's what certification is about) and is used as a document for employment, you have to make it very clear that your certification is nothing more than self-evaluation. I don't have a good word for it so let's keep it that way.</div>

It's important to note that there are different levels at which this can<br>
be pitched. That is, from teaching until being 'able to use' an<br>
OpenStack cloud, through to being 'able to develop' the middleware - and<br>
at various degrees within each level. Of course, a lot of content is<br>
common and any such academic effort should see how it ties in with the<br>
recent questions about training material. Perhaps the first step is to<br>
collate our various plans and see where compatibilities are ?<br>
