[Openstack] Question about OpenStack Networking on Liberty

Hello.

I've been learning OpenStack from Havana, and as far as I know the DVR
(Distributed Virtual Router) Concept has been raised since Juno.

I wonder whether the DVR is finally supported fully at Liberty.
Furthermore, does it solve the issue related networking performance of
OpenStack, especially in aspects of the traffic congestion on a Network
Node?

In the past version of OpenStack, the external traffic, which means a
traffic between a VM and a external host such as google server, should pass
through a Network Node because the virtual router (OpenvSwitch) in the
network node has a role for gateway of external networks. So, if the number
of VMs is hugely increased the traffic also become significantly, and the
congestion occurred.

I'd like to know the current states of the OpenStack Networking and what
has been solved from the past versions from the point of view of
performances.

Best regards

Kim
