Hi Girija,

I think that you can convert image files from XenServer to KVM (qcow2):
http://docs.openstack.org/image-guide/content/ch_converting.html

Then you can create the image manually:
http://docs.openstack.org/image-guide/content/ch_creating_images_manually.html
