Hey there I'm installing my OpenStack Essex environment with ubuntu 12.04 using the new deploy manual from docs.openstack.org and i'm having problems to make swift work with keystone. I had everything installed but swift, because as far as I remember the manual didn't had a swift insllation and setup section, but now it does so I'm using it. I installed everything in a single node (192.168.100.140) using the manual, and now I'm installing swift in another single node (192.168.100.138) using an old swift manual for a all-in-one installation without keystone. After I made swift work without keystone, I setup the endpoint for my swift node, and used the proxy-server.conf file from the new manual.
