I'm cool with that ... why does it need to be an extension, per se? It's just an additional parameter which will be ignored until something going looking for it.

To prevent clashes.  To detect if the feature is available -- it probably wont be available in our legacy system.


How about the POST /zones/server idea?


I'll have to think about it.
