is very vague, when it should be very clear: product pitches should be avoided.

This Foundation event policy is not a set of 'guidelines' that can be chosen or ignored. You are required to follow them if you wish to run an OpenStack day.

In the same time, there are rumors of calling for speakers. Some company claim that they can influence the sessions selection because of their intention of sponsoring.

 

We try to figure out where the information coming, cause it will hurt this event.

Agenda looks fine to me, by the way, I'd like to propose for booth selection below, we can discuss either through email first or face to face this Thursday.

There are two issues here :
1. From sponsor point of view, we should respect the contribution of higher ranking sponsor, like Diamond has greater contribution than Platinum, such as that. So higher ranking sponsor should has priority to select the booth. As for the same level sponsor, well, the one who pays "priority fee" should take first.
2. For both sponsor, there's at least one candidate who wants to apply two booths together, then with the two booths are connected. It's fair to give the option since it's me contribution than single booth sponsor. So the only question here is how to maintain two connected booths after selection of Diamond, Platinum and Gold sponsors? Any idea?
