Does anyone have experience with https://www.polleverywhere.com <https://www.polleverywhere.com/>

I wonder if we could use something like this for Tokyo? Maybe even get someone to sponsor the cost?

No, it's not possible to have the new summit tools ready for Tokyo (we would already need to be using the scheduling tool), but I'm happy to pursue other ways to gather feedback in Tokyo like we're discussing.

I think any mechanism for feedback would be v valuable. Is there any way to accelerate the plans for Austin (it’s a year out!) to get this in place for all keynotes/sessions?
Thanks

Awesome!! Thanks Claire, I'll save my views on "votes" for the survey :)

Also, rumor has it that we may actually be able to try and institute a feedback mechanism for the attendees this time around? In my opinion that could be an extremely valuable tool.

Anyway... thanks!

Hi John,

Unfortunately, we won’t have a new tool to collect session feedback for the Tokyo Summit, but we are developing a new Summit scheduling tool and mobile app that we’re hoping to roll out in Austin, which would allow attendees to provide session feedback via the mobile app. We’re planning to host a feedback session in Tokyo to review the new tools and recruit some beta testers.

In the meantime, one option for Tokyo could be to require each speaker to post a slide with a unique URL to a survey at the end of their presentation. It would require quite a bit of manual work to set up and collect the results, but it’s possible if we think it’s worth doing. We’re open to ideas.

Thanks!
Lauren

Hi Lauren,

Bummer.... but Austin isn't far away!! I kinda like the idea of setting something up manually this time around, as a speaker I certainly think it would be worth doing even just for my own personal growth and improvement. I don't know if others feel strongly enough about making it part of the required work for presenting or not, but I'd certainly be willing to put forth the effort. Keep me posted, and if volunteers are needed to head up the effort I'd be happy to participate.

Thanks,
John
