Thanks for letting us know your decision, Mark. It is always nice from
my seat as an election official to know what someone's intentions are,
to run or not, rather than worrying that they might miss the window.
Thanks for posting.

On a personal note, I will miss your presence. Whether you and I agreed
or not on a given issue, you always presented your perspective kindly
and patiently and I appreciate that. You are a good listener and I hope
the folks who are fortunate enough to get more of your time in the up
coming months appreciate that.

It is hard for me to let good people go from my life, but as I said to a
friend just this week, the hardest is to let them go for the right
reasons. These sound like the right reasons. I honour your decision, Mark.

Thanks for all the beneficial interactions,
Anita.
