Open Stack

This mailing list was originally created for the discussion of
security-related topics for the OpenStack community. Ultimately,
these discussions get more traction on lists where more people are
subscribed, so in recent years it has mostly only received automated
notifications for things like security-impact flagged change reviews
and security tagged bug reports. These automated notifications even
ceased working more than a year ago and nobody seems to have missed
them, so at this point the mailing list itself serves no purpose.

Public discussions of security topics for OpenStack are better
suited to the openstack-discuss at lists.openstack.org mailing list, so
during today's Security SIG meeting we decided to close the unused
public openstack-security mailing list and forward all future posts
for its address to openstack-discuss:

When posting to openstack-discuss, make sure to add [security-sig]
at the beginning of the subject line so that it will come to the
attention of the Security SIG members.
