It’s my pleasure to note in this email that with the issuing of a security note regarding Bash vulnerabilities and how they may affect OpenStack (https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/OSSN/OSSN-0030) we have reached 30 notes published or in progress – that’s thirty different ways to improve the security of OpenStack deployments where fixes can’t or won’t be applied directly to OpenStack.

Thank you to all of you who have been involved in writing, reviewing and publishing OpenStack Security Notes and of course special thanks to Nathan Kinder, who took over the project from myself and Bryan and developed it significantly, adding useful processes and fostering adoption by the community as a whole.

The list of OSSNs is here https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/Security_Notes – thank you to all of you who continue to work on this.

-Rob
