[Openstack-operators] OpenStack Operators Milan - Neutron Session

On behalf of the Calico team and driver... I'm afraid there won't be
anyone from our team in Milan, but I'm happy to provide a quick update
here, in case it is useful:

   - networking-calico (the Calico driver for Neutron) is mature now, and
Just Works (tm) for the use cases that it targets. Active development
continues, as you can see at
   http://git.openstack.org/cgit/openstack/networking-calico, but largely
for maintenance reasons like keeping up with master Neutron code
   improvements (e.g. moves to neutron-lib).
   - Usage documentation can be found under "Calico for OpenStack" at
   http://docs.projectcalico.org/master/usage/; install/getting started doc
   at http://docs.projectcalico.org/master/getting-started/openstack/.
   - We have a busy forum for Calico discussion at
https://slack.projectcalico.org/, so please feel free to join there. In
particular there's an #openstack channel there.
   - Interesting current Calico work is centred around its Kubernetes
integration, and on Calico networking for hybrid OpenStack/Kubernetes
   platforms.

I could also paste this into the etherpad, if you'd like that - please just
let me know.

Regards - Neil
