If you are using VNX in Icehouse, this is the recommended one:

Subject: [Openstack-operators] Cinder with EMC VNX
Hi guys, I'm about to deploy a small cloud (Ubuntu Trusty + OpenStack Icehouse) using an EMC VNX as cinder backend. So far I've seen at least four different possibilities to use this storage:
-http://docs.openstack.org/icehouse/config-reference/content/emc-vnx-direct-driver.html just iSCSI, no FC.
[Xing] This driver works for iSCSI, but we can’t backport FC driver and other new features to Icehouse.
-http://docs.openstack.org/icehouse/config-reference/content/emc-smis-driver.html should work with VNX+FC
[Xing] The SMI-S based driver will only support VMAX, not VNX, starting from Juno. So this one is not recommended any more.
-http://www.rethinkstorage.com/vipr-and-openstack-integration-how-it-works#.VDdVlulgcuo ViPR solution
[Xing] If you have multiple storage platforms, this is the recommended choice.
-https://github.com/emc-openstack/vnx-direct-driver/blob/master/README_FC.md EMC official drivers.
I'd like to know your eperiences/recomendations about this cinder drivers. Have you tried any of them?
