Thanks Daneyon! just few more queries. I understand that you mean the VLANs and the gateways to be on physical router or do you mean router in Quantum/Openstack? Can you explain a bit more on “Inject these networks into your routing domain or create static routes”? I’m trying to figure out what's wrong on networking setup, rest all of the stuff works fine.

I followed the guide exactly several times to validate it. The switches must trunk the VLANs to nodes using sub-interfaces and all VLANs to the router. Create VLAN interfaces on the router for the public, Management/CIMC and Tenant networks. Inject these networks into your routing domain or create static routes.

Hi Daneyon,

Starting a separate thread picking up from mention of Cisco Grizzly HA install guide. I had followed the same guide earlier, but getting around the VLANs was kind of tough one. As for Quantum, have you exactly followed the guide or did something of your own? If yes, then what changes you did at the switch & routers connected to the nodes? We tried setting VLAN and put the nodes on Trunk ports, it worked once on one of the compute nodes and then it never did. Something I missed in there. Hope you could be of some help.

Galera is working great for us. Rabbit mirrored queues is supported as of Grizzly:

Nova/Quantum/Cinder .conf
rabbit_ha_queues=true
rabbit_hosts=control01,control02,control03

Details can be found here: http://docwiki.cisco.com/wiki/COE_Grizzly_Release:_High-Availability_Manual_Installation_Guide
