Glad to know your interest in participating in Outreachy. It is an awesome
platform to get yourself involved in open source.

*To answer your questions:*

Yes you can participate because you are still a student. Just make sure
that you don't have any other time commitments during May 2017 to July 2017.

The application deadline is *March 30th* as you can find it out here -

To get started with the application process, go through the following
simple steps:

   1. Choose the organization you want to contribute to. First and a very
   important step I must say.
   2. Once you choose the organization, choose the project which you are
   really interested to work upon.
   3. Learn more about the project by going through the documentation,
   seeking help from the community and more importantly talking to the
   assigned mentor.
   4. Make your first contribution :-)
