It wasn't being suggested as a permanent fix, just as a quick<br>
workaround so that <a href="http://ask.openstack.org" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">ask.openstack.org</a> will stop going offline for<br>
several minutes every hour while we have an opportunity to carefully<br>
work through a better but possibly more risky transition to more<br>
recent version of the vcsrepo module or to another module entirely.<br>
