It looks like yum tried to get packages from <a href="http://repos.fedorapeople.org" target="_blank">repos.fedorapeople.org</a> and<br>
DNS resolution failed. Perhaps this was a temporary failure and<br>
rerunning will not run into name resolution problems? Also, we have<br>
never really tested devstack on CentOS like we do on Ubuntu. This will<br>
probably change with CentOS 7 in the near future but not with 6. You<br>
might also try using Ubuntu Precise or Trusty VMs.<br>
<br>
As for the git thing that may depend on how you have newer git<br>
installed. Was 1.8.4 installed via yum so that the package DB knows that<br>
it exists? I don't think devstack care about a specific version it is<br>
just ensuring that git exists.<br>
