Tony pm'd me and I asked him to post in -infra, meaning the infra irc
channel and he interpreted this as the infra mailing list.

Also the flurry of elections is based on an interpretation of what is
required, not what is required.

The requirement is: The leadership is chosen by the contributors to
the project

which can take many forms. They are just all heading to the -dev list.
