<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;">Dear All,<br><br>We are pleased to announce <b>a special award (EUR400) by Juelich Supercomputing Center (<a href="http://www.fz-juelich.de">http://www.fz-juelich.de</a>) for a best paper presented in the conference Computer Analysis of Images and Patterns (CAIP’2015)</b> <b>that concerns research in which high performance computing is an enabling technology for solving a pattern recognition problems.</b> <div><br></div><div>The submission deadline is 22 March. For further details please visit the conference website: <a href="http://caip.eu.org/caip2015/">http://caip.eu.org/caip2015/</a></div><div><br>CAIP'2015 is the sixteenth in the CAIP series of biennial international conferences devoted to all aspects of computer vision, image analysis and processing, pattern recognition, and related fields. This year it will be organized in 2-4 September, Malta. Previous conferences were held in York, Seville, Münster, Vienna, Paris, Groningen, etc. The scientific program of the conference will consist of three plenary lectures and contributed papers presented in a single track. Poster presentations will allow expert discussions of specialized research topics. The proceedings of the conference will be published in the Springer LNCS series. <br><br><br><b>Special Issue</b><br><div><ul class="MailOutline"><li>On 15 September authors of a selection (some 20%) from all accepted and presented papers will be invited to extend their paper to a journal paper and submit it by 15 November to a special issue of the journal Machine Vision and Applications (Springer) dedicated to CAIP.
