The build doesn't currently break with CAL tables (which is how I
got sucked in), they just don't work in PDF.<br>

But, David, you're saying that HTML and CAL tables look completely
different (not just wrong, as with PDF)? Then I apologize, the
validation script should just break with CALS, to be consistent in
the doc layout. Or?<br>

The maven plugin should process CALS tables. They just don't look as
good. I have Oxygen configured to warn you that we prefer html tables
however. I do still plan to get this working one way or another. Just
need to knock out a couple of other things first.
