Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your feedback :)

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of people using postgres for their OpenStack for some time. In theory the underlying sqlalchemy library can support it as easy as MySQL, however it doesn't look like effort has been put in to testing it.

There's still some code in nova that references a postgres connection, so you could try setting it up with the diablo doc's sql connection info ... http://docs.openstack.org/diablo/openstack-compute/admin/content/setting-up-sql-database-postgresql.html

However, you might get a better response by asking a question about postgres support on the general openstack mailing list: http://wiki.openstack.org/MailingLists

Regards,

Hi here!!

I'm reading tones of openstack documentation ... really a lot of work
here. THANKS GUYS!

Where can I get installation notes about OpenStack "Folsom" and "Essex"
with Postgres??

I found some information for "Diablo" with scripted and manual db setup,
but "Essex" and "Folsom" docs only have info about MySql.

Exist Postgres info?
Maybe I should get this information from MySql scripts, where are they
located?

Thx!
