[OpenStack-docs] OpenStack Contribution

Mauricio,

I don’t believe that there’s any kind of time-sheet mechanism. Changes that you submit, or others changes that you review are all recorded in Gerritt.

As Lana said in her other email, please make sure you subscribe to the mailing list openstack-docs at http://lists.openstack.org/

Thanks,

Cool, Amrith!

Thanks for the explanation. I plan to start my work by tomorrow.

Is there any kind of time sheet or something where we record our deeds? I mean, is there a way to check the effort's status?

Regards!

Mauricio, welcome!

The ML is the Mailing List, the place where we’re having this conversation.

A change set is a patch submitted for review.

Again, welcome, and have a great week.

I appreciate the reception, friends.

However, please help me to get used to some terms that you guys employ over here. :-)

For now, what exactly are "changeset" and "ML"?

Kind regards and good week!

Hello,

Mauricio, welcome to training-labs it would be great to have you contribute to the CentOS bits. Of course you are free to choose what you want to work on :).

Just for the sake of involving the community I am moving this conversation to the docs ML. Thanks for working on this guys, I am currently busy with other things (Website training-labs) which I am almost done with. Lets continue further discussion in this thread on the ML. Just make sure that when you are replying to this thread, do a reply-to-all :).

Regards,
Pranav

I just submitted a changeset that should make the CentOS basedisk build
again:

https://review.openstack.org/#/c/328636/

You can check it out using "git review -d 328636" or wait for it to get
merged into the repo.

config/scripts.centos_cluster should be expanded following the example
of config/scripts.ubuntu_cluster. The scripts then go into
scripts/centos/ (check out scripts/ubuntu/ for the Ubuntu scripts).

The install guide for CentOS is here:
http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/install-guide-rdo/

If you have any questions, let us know.

Roger
