This might be a simplistic view, but if it isn't a proper noun it 
shouldn't be capitalized in this way.

We are simply referring to a way to provision any generic bare metal, 
therefore it would be the 'bare metal service', no? It seems to me the 
list should read something like:

[...]
Horizon : dashboard service
Ironic : bare metal service
Keystone : identity service
[...]

I also don't understand why the project names aren't capitalized, as 
they are clearly(?) proper nouns? Furthermore, why is the generic 
service name (e.g. 'Compute' or 'Image') capitalized when it is not a 
proper noun?

Perhaps I've walked into a mine field here, the scope of this which I am 
not fully aware, but several of these things seem to be completely the 
opposite of the grammatical standard.

It is also possible that I am not English-ing very well.[0]
