Thanks for asking on the list Elke. It's not really my decision, but we do
like to work in similar ways, and it helps the core reviewers (there are
about a dozen of us active) know how to review your patches. So the mailing
list is best, thanks.

Generally speaking, yes, we want to move towards a topic-oriented model,
and the xi:include chunking lets us do that.
