Open Stack

As many of you already know, a group of us intend to update networking
portions of the installation guide for Icehouse. During analysis of the
project, we realized that the Neutron chapter would benefit from better
integration. For example, configuring Neutron requires a considerable
amount of jumping around the guide compared to legacy networking with Nova.
Many of these changes will affect other portions of the guide. For example,
the existing architectural and operating system configuration examples
don't thoroughly cover Neutron. Due to the extent of these changes, the
guide may periodically break for end-users attempting to follow it. We
created the following blueprint containing the proposed layout:

Attempting to address these fairly significant changes with a single bug
report and massive patch would cause merge and review contention. On the
other hand, addressing each change with a separate bug report and smaller
patch would make tracking more difficult and inflate our total bug count.
We decided to meet in the middle by using a single bug report referencing
each change necessary to reach our goal and "partial-bug" for patches
addressing them.
